Seen early Sunday morning, the young West Park greylag goose goslings on a daisy-strewn patch of short grass, eating enthusiastically.

The parents were just out of shot, alert on guard.

Very young goslings can just be seen, half-hidden by one of the adults. There were at least three of them.

Pieris bush, West Park. New leaves pale, pinkish. As they mature, the colour will shift towards that of the mmture ones lower down the branches.
