Deciduous conifer, by the West Park boating lake, standing tall bare of leaves for the winter.

One of the tufted ducks on the boating lake at West Park, the surface of the water distorting its reflections Hall of Mirrors style.

Small cones, tiny cones. These were growing on two adjacent conifers by the bandstand in West Park.

Shoveller pair, and on another visit to West Park a larger group, feeding as they swam in tight circles with their beaks just below the surface of the water.

Grey wagtail, probably one of a pair, though I only caught a glimpse of another bird out of the corner of my eye. Female or perhaps an immature, it was feeding on the edge of the bank of the Severn at Bridgnorth.
