Posted on 20 May 20183 May 2018 by David Wild arums, spathes beginning to open Wild arums growing in a small wood by the Wolverhampton to Bridgnorth road. When these pictures were taken the spathes (large, leaf-like structure) were just beginning to unwrap themselves from the spadix (spike the flowers grow from) of each plant.
