Standing tall, canalside figwort
Figwort plant, very tall and slender, just coming into flower. Growing all along the very edge of the canal bank, this one very near the water bridge.
The same young heron as in yesterday’s post, a couple of minutes later. Somthing on the footpath side of the canal disturbed it, so it took off for a secluded spot.
