Cheeky Bantock Park squirrel ran across the path right in front of me, and started up a tree trunk. It paused half way up, kept one eye on me, and thrust one foreleg into a hole in the tree.

Silk button spangle galls, circular with a depression in the middle, thickly strewn on the underside of an oak leaf. Common spangle galls, also found on the underside of oak leaves, rise to a peak in the centre.
