The red berries are from one of the trees on the edge of the Barley Field; the yellow, which grow on an ornamental, cultivated variety, from West Park.

Suede bolete by a roadside

Suede boletes, growing round one of the trees on the pavement near the Stafford Road / Waterloo Road roundabout.. Boletes are a group of mushrooms which have pores rather than gills on the undersides of their caps. This species is quite common in town in the autumn.
