Bulrushes (or reedmace) with the feathery seeds beginning to spread from their seed heads. These were on the margins of Old Nursery Pond.

You can lead a duck to water ...

Another visit to Perton with its pools. Once again the muscovy drake was hanging round on the gravel at the inlet to the upper pool. It didn’t even seem to be hoping for bread this time. Occasionally, it bent its neck to take a sip of the water.
