Male orange tip butterfly on flower, Worfield garden

A stroll around Worfield earlier today, saw lots of birds and lots of flowers blooming. Perhaps the highlight was this male orange tip butterfly which briefly paused to feed on a garden flower, before heading off when the sun went behind a cloud.

Orange tips are probably the most skittish of the butterflies common locally. The females lack the orange area near the tip of the wings, so they look like small whites when in flight.
