Two dandelion seed heads: one as yet undisturbed, the other with almost all the seed already dispersed.

Apparently the seeds on the clock get eaten by both bullfinches and goldfinches: so it’s worth letting them stay in your garden for that reason as well as their beautiful “geodesic dome” appearance.
