Wildflower Meadow, Bantock Park
A bright patch of colurs harmonising together. The yellow of corn marigolds, red from poppies, cornflower blue and green of the leaves (of wormwood too in one of the pictures). All were growing together in the wldflower meadow of Bantock Park.
The flowers formed islands of colour in the sandier soil which had previously been bunkers on the Pitch and Putt course, among the more subdued tones of the many species of ripening grasses in the rest of the meadow.
