One of a pair of wood pigeons which were industriously pecking away at bare patches they had made in one of the lawns of the Castle Grounds park, Bridgnorth.
I sat down for a snack on one of the benches along Bridgnorth’s Castle Walk. Almost immediately, this female blackbird began prospecting only a couple of yards away.
