Sweet pea flowers bursting thr ough the fence of the Castle Grounds at Bridgnorth, overhanging Castle Walk.

Sow thistle, the last of its flowers for the season open, overhanging the same stretch of canal where the damselflies in the previous posts had been.

Banded demoiselle male resting on a nettle not far from the female in the previous post. Males choose more exppsed positions to rest, whith their bright blue colour serving to advertise their presence.
