Carrion crow carefully climbing down to the edge of West Park lake for a drink of water. Then climbing back up the sloping wall, where it found something interesting towards the top.
Noticed by the canal yesterday, bulrush with half a dozen pond snails on its leaf. The snail in this series had reached the very tip of its leaf, and was carefully doing a three point turn go head back downwards.
The prince, originally a woodland mushroom, can now occasionally be found in more urban settings. This cluster were growing in a front garden, half-hidden by flowers.
