Red, yellow: the beright colours of a columbine flower, spotted in a front garden when walking down from Sedgley to Baggeridge Country Park.
Seen resting on vegetation by the path not far from Bag’s Pool, Baggeridge Country Park, yesterday, this beautiful damselfly. Possibly an immature female emerald damselfly. I spotted another female of the same species on the opposite side of Toposcope Hill three weeks ago.
Male blackbird on ground in the Castle Grounds at Bridgnorth. The feathers look less immaculate than normal – probably doing his share of feeding a hungry brood of chicks.
