A visit to West Park, early on a Sunday morning. Walking the footpath around the lake, there was a section where several coots were sitting, looking relaxed, either on the tarmac of the path or the nearby grassy area. Most, including this bird, stayed where thy were even when someone passed right by them.
Gull on a grassy area under Exeter city walls, stomping the ground to bring worms to the surface, looking like it’s dancing.
