Brown rat, Perton

Brown rat, Perton

Brown rat by the lake at Perton, at the spot where young children are often brought to feed the ducks and geese. Its companion disappeared as soon as it noticed me there, but this one carried on looking for crumbs.

Like many other creatures, rats seemed to get a lot bolder during lockdown one in the spring. Unlike many others, they seem to have kept up the habit.
