A mossy front lawn on a quiet side street, with a sprinkling of parrot wax caps, tiny but brightly coloured mushrooms. Most of the green colour had been washed off by heavy rain. But enough was still left to be sure the fungi weren’t one of the other yellowish waxcap species.
