Sheet webs, heavy dew

A small patch of long grass in the wildflower meadow at Bantock Park, which spideers had covered in sheet webs. Heavy dew had condensed on the webs, which were then catching the morning sun.

Candle snuff fungi are usually black at the base, white towards the tip, then turning black throughout later. These were growing on a very short tree stump in a front garden, and were white along their entire length.

Wood blewits, growing in short grass on roadside verges. When fresh, such mushrooms have a lilac tinge to the caps and gills. These had already gone beyond that stage.
