Dandelions spreading over one of the areas of short grass in Compton Park, the seed-heads all ripening at the same time.

A scarlet tiger moth caterpillar had somehow got inside the house. There was no vegetation in the room, so it must have made its entry after it had eaten enough to grow to the size it was.
