The scarlet tiger moth caterpillar which had made an indoor visit (yesterday’s post) now returned to the more appropriate surroundings of a garden well stocked with plenty of vegetation.
Doing its best to eat the alkanet leaf it was resting on.
A pair of Canada geese with goslings, and, a little further along the shore of the lake at West Park, a pair of greylag geese with goslings which were a little older.
