This less conspicuously coloured dragonfly is, I presume, a female of the same species as the males in the previous post.
She was the only one on the rail.
Common darter dragonflies are already established on the new pool in Compton Park.
As previously mentioned, they like the woodwork of the footbridge for their perching positions.
There are three males in these pictures.
