Water mint flowering, Wetland Lake

Water mint flowering, Wetland Lake

Wetland Lake is the pool, still less than two years old, formed by allowing the Graiseley Brook to emerge briefly from its underground culvert as it crosses the former school playing fields in Compton Park, now the area by the housing development.

Water mint is successfully established growing round much of the margin of the pool: here seen looking down from the wooden footbridge.
