It’s spring, and time for cute little lambs in the fields. Most of the ewes in this field seemed to have had twins.

All of these have probably finished their task of distributing their spores, and are more or less battered by their time over the ground.

Dunnock on a branch of a magnolia tree in the Castle Grounds, Bridgnorth. It was so focussed on singing to broadcast its presence that it appeared not to notice me taking its picture.

Some goosanders seem to be settling by the Severn for the breeding season. There were two pairs swimming together in the middle of the river a little downstream from Bridgnorth.
