Harvestman: still not a daddy long-legs

Harvestman: still not a daddy long-legs

Once again not to be confused with the daddy long-legs insect (cranefly), and, despite the eight legs, not actually a spider either. A harvestman is an Opilone, a type of arachnid and thus related to the spiders. Often found in late summer and autumn, sometimes indoors.

Daddy long-legs spider

Not to be confused with a daddy long-legs, which is an insect (six legs, wings which are used to fly around in a seemingly random manner), but a spider often found indoors. Also known as a cellar spider or formally as Pholcus phalangioides.
