Moorhen chick swimming directly down wind, raising its wings to act as sails for extra power.

It is the same bird previously featured here.

Giant hogweed with its stem and branches entwined by a bindweed.

Goldcrest just about possible to make out through the branches of the tree it was sitting in.

Chicory flower with a couple of insects (beetles?) on it. The blue of the flower’s petals is a slightly lighter version of the cornflower’s blue.

Robin, the same bird as in the previous post, spotted a cinnabar moth caterpillar. It interrupted its preen to catch its prey.
