Ramson (wild garlic) flowers. Some just developing as buds, some opening, and one fully open. All were on plants in the same patch, seen at the same time.

The first ducklings I spotted this year: three with their mother swimming on the canal near the Wildside Centre. It looked like they had been hatched for less than a day.

These were on one of the recent mornings after heavy overnight rain, which had left the catkins looking very bedraggled.

Barley Field robin

Robin in one of the bushes on the edge of the Barley Field.

It repeatedly flew down to the path, found a morsel to eat, and returned to its station on the twig.
