Seven coot chicks, from their appearance only recently hatched and perhaps on their first outing on the water, with their parents on the River Avon by the Tramway Bridge at Stratford.
The chicks still have the egg tooth, the white area at the end of their beaks which is used to break through the shell and emerge into the world.
Seven is a large brood for coots.
