These were growing on a lawn in front of flats on the Compton Road.

They have been showing there in late summer for several years. In the past I have mistaken them for other related species, panther caps and the blusher.

Foxglove seeds ripening on the plant are not instantly recognisable in the way the flowers are.

These were on a very tall plant growing in a shady spot in the Wightwick Manor woods.
