Minute pirate bug (genus Anthocoris) -species in this grouping sometimes called flower bugs instead. This one was resting on a hazel leaf.

Seed heads in a mass in the wetland area by the pool at Compton Park, a patch which as developed from one or two plants when the pool was created in 2013.
