Persistent heavy rain and melting snow mean lots of flooding, and plenty of puddles which are the right depth for pigeons to bathe in. These birds from West Park looked like they were having fun in the doubtless cold water.

Whenever I visit Perton, I look out for the resident muscovy duck on the lake. This time it was hiding out on the island, peeping out through low branches.
