The farm animal area at Northycote has been closed for some time because of COVID lockdown restrictions. It’s now re-opened, in time to make it possible to get closer to the lambs, not long born.
Basking in the sun, standing in the lake on a half-submerged fallen branch, the West Park turtle. It was moving, but very slowly. Perhaps to get exactly the right angle from the sunlight, perhaps to keep its balance as the coot on the other end of the branch preened.
