One of the scrub control goats at Baggeridge Country Park. By mid-morning it was already very hot, and the goats main aim was to find some shade.

Young frog finding a shady spot by water to cool itself on a hot, sunny day. Small, but probably too big to have been one of this year’s tadpoles.

Another unwelcome insect garden visotor, some type of greenfly. It was at least on its own, and seemed just to be resting on the broom flower.

Goslings enthusiastically eating vegetation at the side of the canal and preening. At Dimmingsdale as the Canada goose parents watched from nearby.

Slowly, s-l-o-w-l-y advancing up a leaf, a white-lipped snail, the common garden snail.
