Categories David Forever amber? Post author By David Post date 2 June 2012 Actually resin which is exuded from cherry trees when the bark is damaged. The resin comes out slightly plastic and slightly sticky, then hardens to protect the tree. Thanks to Barbara.
Categories David Smestow brook at Wightwick Bank Post author By David Post date 2 June 2012 Windmill Lane is one of the relatively few places it’s possible to get a clear view of the Smestow brook within the city boundaries. The only clear view of this small waterfall is from above and upstream. I thought it made an interesting almost monochrome abstract composition.
