A couple of views across the main floral display in West Park, looking across different flower beds towards the impressive copper beech.

Also from a tree in Bantock Park.

The poppy above was growing by a factory wall, the one below on a path leading down to the Birmingham canal.

This was one one of the bushes in Bantock Park.

These flowers were all on the same small patch of flag iris during the hot spell at the end of May.

A pair of the greylag geese were sitting ignoring everyone walking by; one actually on a path, the other on the bordering short grass.

The bird on the grass was not eating the daisies which surrounded it, but the larger fallen petals of another flower, probably rhododendron.
