These raspberries were beginning to ripen at the start of the month.
Two moths caught asleep in the daytime. This one was in short grass on a seaside hill.
This one, with cryptic camouflage, was in a privet hedge.
This slemder beetle seems to prefer the flowers of umbellifers, or perhaps that is where I spot them because of the colour contrast.
The light has emphasised the darker colour of the facial feathers of these jackdaws.
Mayflies can be seen all summer, despite the name. This one was resting on a railing by the river Exe.
