Lords and ladies is one of the most distinctive of the common hedgerow plants. Here the berries are just beginning to change from green through yellow and orange to red.

Raspberries beginning to ripen

Although it is only August, fruit are already beginning to ripen, and some indeed to go rotten.
This raspberry was growing wild, although it may be descended from a cultivated plant.

This duck is a cross, probably Khaki Campbell and mallard. It was with a group of mallards on the bank of the river Teme at Ludlow.
