An ashy mining bee, busy gathering pollen from, if I remember correctly, hawkbit flowers growing as weeds on the side streets near the city centre Sainsbury’s.
Cistus (rock rose) flowers just opening. The popular garden shrub is originally from the Mediterranean regions, but seems to thrive here in a wetter and cooler climate.
