Nooks and corners, Bridgnorth
Looking down from the top of Stoneway Steps, Bridgnorth. One of the many sets of steps, impassable to any vehicles, which gave most of the routes between Bridgnorth’s Low Town and High Town in the days when the place was an important inland port.

Memories of summer: blue-bodied darter
The weather at the moment isn’t encouraging lots of walks and bike rides in the fresh air. So here is another set of pictures that I didn’t get round to posting when they were taken.
This blue-bodied darter dragonfly set up a territory at the edge of the water of the Compton Park pool in June 2014.
