Witch’s butter (aka golden jelly fungus) growing on a twig by the path across Compton Rough, here on a cold morning with a decoration of frost.

Nooks and corners, Bridgnorth
Looking down from the top of Stoneway Steps, Bridgnorth. One of the many sets of steps, impassable to any vehicles, which gave most of the routes between Bridgnorth’s Low Town and High Town in the days when the place was an important inland port.
View through the gate of an interesting looking alley leading off from the town’s High Street (High Town of course).
