Posted on 12 July 201828 June 2018 by David Heron high in tree, sunbathing, West Park A hot midday. A heron flew towards West Park’s boating lake island, and landed high in the trees. In the few seconds while I moved round to get a clearer view of it, it had spread its wings and was sunbathing.
