Funnel caps after rain, Himley Plantation

The damp but still fairly warm weather means fresh crops of fungi. A recent brisk walk around the Woodland Trust’s Himley Plantation produced a species count in double figures. A patch of common funnel caps looked like they had only recently grown, though some had already been found by a hungry creature.
