Gosling creche, Bylet, Bridgnorth

Gosling creche, Bylet, Bridgnorth

Group of eight adult geese together with seventeen goslings. The group were swimming in the Severn close to the Bylet at Bridgnorth. They came ashore there, and then started preening, the young ones imitating the adults. Two of the adults and a couple of the goslings walked across the beach and waded into the water to preen. The side stream had dried up into a series of pools.
