I keep on going back and getting more pictures of the Egyptian goose when it deigns to show itself at West Park. Here it was competing with a large crowd of Canadas for the bread someone was distributing.

Various species of inkcaps deliquesce, their caps turning to a slimy mess, as they have released their spores. Shaggy inkcaps, also known as lawyers wigs, are perhaps the most common type round here.

Like these, often found in grass by the sides of roads. Here two I came across at different times recently when their caps were about half gone.
