Cornflowers growing in the wildflower meadow of Bantock Park recently.

Beautiful demoiselles damselflies at rest on vegetation over a small stream. Some pictures are probably immature males, others perhaps female.

A poppy flower in the wildflower meadow at Bantock Park, once again proving attractive to several insects at once. This time, tiny black beetles.

Bladderwrack seaweed witout its covering of water when the tide had receded. On the rocks next to the causeway to St Michael’s Mount it was competing with other seaweeds. On the stones of St Ives harbour it formed what looked from the distance like one continuous carpet.
