Pair of the swans on the river at Stratford on Avon perform a courtship display in the shadow of the Clopton Bridge over the river. A synchronised performance, quite likely as the prelude to actually mating, though I didn’t hang around to see.

This was a very small litter. The ginger piglet is a sow, and will be kept for breeding purposes. The grey is a boar. It is destined tgo live in comfort for some months, then, well the policy of the establishment is that the on-site restaurant should be stocked as far as possible with their own organic produce.
