Greylag goose on the lake at West Park. Flying as it was honking aggresively, seeing off a rival which had encrouched onto what it considered its own patch of water.
Courtship pigeon style, West Park. The male puffs himself up and struts about forcefully, the female walking away. The male continues strutting, still trying to get the female’s attention. This time, a jogger came along the other footpath. The male was distracted briefly, tbe female vamoosed.
Pair of pied wagtails on the edge of the canal on Mermaid Wharf at Wightwick. They were unworried by my presence, safely on the opposite side of the water.
