#lockdown – greylag goslings return

#lockdown - greylag goslings return

There had been no sign of the West Park greylag geese for a week and a half. I was beginning to worry that a predator had got them, or perhaps they had retreated to one of the islands. In their first few days, the parent birds had become increasingly hostile to any humans anywhere nearby.

Then a visit on a different time of day – the rain only gave up late afternoon.

Goslings still all present, and looking healthy. When first noticed, they were running at top speed towards the bread being scattered by someone.
