‘Candelabras’ of horse chestnut flowers, white ant (much rarer) red. The day I took these pictures, the trees with white flowers all seemed to be as bit more advanced.

Glistening inkcaps, Barley Field

There haven’t been many fungi this spring, and by far the commonest mushrooms have been glistening inkcaps. This was the last cluster I saw, growing in the shelter of the hedge at the side of the Barley Field.
