The buds on this ash tree are another sign that spring is finally beginning to come.

A feathery moss growing on a tree trunk.

The spring flowers are slowly coming, as this lesser celandine which had as yet only half opened.

A pair of rooks by their nest. This pair are from the small rookery by Kinver war memorial.

The (roundish) fruit and (long, thin) catkins of an alder tree.
