Large-leaved and common by canal sides.

Lilac bushes beginning to flower.

Some bushes produce white flowers.

On other bushes the buds are purple, the opened flowers indeed lilac.

From half way up the old main road to Wolverhampton. The old church and old houses in the same square dominate the view. The Severn cannot be seen in the valley.

This wild garlic was right by the ranger station on Railway Walk in the Smestow Valley LNR.

Not commonly found in this region. As these were on the edge of one of the pools at Himley Hall, they were probably planted.

This tulip was surrounded by a sea of green in Claverley churchyard.
