Clouded agaric mushrooms growing amid the debris of the leylandii trees they were growing under. Spotted when passing a front garden.
The ground under leylandiis often doesn’t have anything interesting to look at. Occasionally, as here, there are some determined fungi.

The mistlethrush (previous post) decided it needed to cross the road to take up guard closer to its rowan berries.
Shortly after the mistlethrush of the previous post arrived, it was followed by a party of the waxwings which it was on guard against.
One of this group landed in the same tree, to be watched with suspicion.
